I set out one morning, to paint a couple warm-up paintings....just something to shake off the cobwebs and help me to get back into my painting groove, at the start of the day. A funny thing happened, though, when I fell in love with the simplicity of the under-painting sketch portion of the artwork. I loved the neutral tones surrounded by the electric blue so much, that I didn't want to move forward with my original plan, which was to add some more pops of color. In the end, I decided to paint two more (for a total of four) paintings in this same style, keeping the florals on the first two in a more neutral color palette and adding a bit more color to the second two!
The result is this pair of Vintage Neutrals -- one horizontal and one vertical, as well as my two Vintage Color Pop paintings, also one horizontal and one vertical!
Both pairs would look lovely styled together as a set, or work well individually, too.

Painted on 1-1/2" deep edge, gallery profile canvas. Edges are fully painted so framing isn't necessary.
Painting is signed in gold on front as well as signed and dated on the back.
