Well, who doesn't love some strawberry shortcake in the summer? These plump strawberries are accented by some baby berries that aren't quite ripe yet, and the light green on the baby strawberries adds such a welcome pop of brightness to the painting!
The background is done in shades of turquoise with visible brush strokes and marks not fully blended in, giving it added interest and a very abstract, painterly feel. The leaves are eye catching and the little pink strawberry blossoms are a sweet finishing touch!
This would be such a fun addition on a kitchen wall or in a dining room, and would be super cute paired with any of the other paintings in this fruit series!
