The colors in this painting just scream orange creamsicle! In fact, when I was little, my aunt & uncle always had orange sherbet and vanilla checkerboard ice cream for us whenever we visited, which was such a fun treat! I wish they still made that ice cream! Obviously, "Orange Sherbet & Vanilla Checkerboard Ice Cream" is a bit long for a painting name, so "Orange Creamsicle" it is! Haha!
This painting features a variety of orange blooms including some lovely orange parrot tulips which were SO fun to paint for the first time, as well as another first for me in this painting.....orange and white miniature daffodils!
The bouquet is set on a lovely deep gray background with bits of bright pink underpainting showing through in spots.
This pretty bouquet is sure to add a pop of color to your space, while the gray background keeps it a bit more muted.
