I took some artistic license with the color of this sweet little Fairy Wren and painted it in a deep purple instead of the rich blue typical of this type of bird. His sweet little face looks as though something just outside the canvas, has caught his eye, as he's perched among the blooms!
Matthew 6:26 says, "Look at the birds! They don’t worry about what to eat—they don’t need to sow or reap or store up food—for your heavenly Father feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than they are." (The Living Bible)
My hope is that this bird painting will be a constant reminder of God's loving care for us! He loves us and is always providing for those who love Him and have given their hearts to Him. I hope that this bluebird serves as a reminder to cast all our cares on the Lord, because He cares for us and can be trusted with the details of our lives, just as He cares for the birds.
