There are so many different types of dahlias and then within each classification, there are so many varieties! One of my favorite types of dahlia is the collarette style dahlia! They come in a variety of different color combos, each one just as charming as the next! We're planting a collarette dahlia in our garden this year, and I'm so excited to see one in person for the first time!
So, it was with great joy that I painted this bouquet of collarette dahlias, thanks to many reference photos online!
This sunny bouquet also features some dark and moody tulips, as well as some cheery coneflowers and they're all tucked in a peachy pitcher for a vase. The background is shades of aqua that accent the magentas and orange tones so well.
