Azaleas are so beautiful and my favorite is when they get to the point in their growing cycle each year, where there are literally more blooms than leaves! Stunning! We've had one growing in our yard for years, a sweet gift we received after my Grandpa's funeral. It brings us so much joy every year, and always reminds us of my dear Grandpa, too!
When I started painting these abstract, drippy blooms, they quickly started to remind me of our beloved azalea and that's how this one came to be named Azalea Blossoms.
I hope this painting brings the viewer much joy and maybe even reminds you of a loved one, too!
